Home for the Weekend!

Here i am! Holding my adorable nephew timothy! I went home for the weekend because i had to see him as soon as i could after he was born. He is tiny and so cute! I also loved spending time with my family and friends. They are the best and made it hard to come back to Cedar. Good thing i'll be going back up this weekend for a reunion with all of the people i went to El Salvador with! woo hooo!

Weekend Visitors

It was an eventful few days in Cedar this past weekend. Two of my best friends from St. George came up and stayed with me and we hung out with a few of our other friends. These are a couple of the pics we took "being crazy" after a 3 a.m. Walmart run for groceries. It's funny to see what you come up with to do for fun in a small town. Earlier that night we learned our lesson the hard way when we packed all 7 of us in a 4 person jeep and got pulled over. The cop didn't stop at a seatbelt citation, he wrote us up for improper look out and for people blocking the driver's view. We were all a little mad but oh well at least we learned our lesson. It was fun to hang out with my good friends and we all had a good time despite the incident with the cop.

Labor Day in St. Geezy

Two weeks into school and we already had a day off. Talk about a rough life!! I decided to go down to St. George and stay with my friends for the weekend. I had a blast and it was so good to see them. I went to the Dixie football game with them one night and kind of felt like a traitor for supporting another team but it was just fun to spend time with my besties. Then i was lucky enough to have sunday dinner with my Aunt Karen, Heather, Craig, Bob, and Taitum. It was so nice to see family and get a little taste of home. Plus my mom sent down a package with a bunch of fun stuff so that was a nice surprise. Thanks mom!

Kanarra Falls

A couple of weeks ago Log, Wes and I hiked up this waterfall close to Cedar City after classes. It was fun to finally do something active instead of just sitting around for the afternoon. It was super hot that day so the freezing water felt really good and it was beautiful. There was a big rock slide that we went down a few times and I looked pretty rediculous doing it. I hiked it in flip flops and quickly learned my lesson. I had my mom send some tivas down with my aunt for the next time we go. It took about 4 hours to hike but was well worth it. We had a blast!

Timothy Joshua is here!

He's finally here! Isn't he the cutest? He was born at 7:59 AM and was 7 lbs 1 oz. and 20 in. long. I'm a little sad that i didn't get to hold him the day he was born but i'll be going up to Salt Lake this weekend and already told everyone i have dibs on holding him all weekend! haha. I am so excited to see my new nephew and i'm so happy for Jodi and Jake! Congrats!!!
